9:28 pm
It's getting quite dark, and the nest is empty.

(Actually, I think I see a bit of leftover fish - but no osprey!)

Good night, all.

Osprey comes in and lands on the nest at 6:20 a.m and claims the left over fish, and is eating it immediately.

Good Morning Gerard :hello:

WEATHER TODAY

High 19C
Cloudy periods
Wind W 15km/h
Low 5C

7:08 am
One chick is still eating the fish at the 7:00 corner, one is mid nest and one at 3:00 perch. I am assuming this is a leftover fish from your first report this morning.

Pretty well the same scene except that the chick that was at mid nest had moved to the 12:00 area a bit ago.
The chick with the fish is still eating and so far no one has interfered.

A quick fight broke out and the chick from the 12:00 area moved in to steal the fish.
He secured the fish and took it back to the 12:00 to eat.

One chick flew off across the river.
Two on the nest now -- one still eating and one at mid nest.
