3:59pm adult departs down and away screen right. There is no fish at the spot where she was eating. chick at 12 oclock is likely holding it now.
chick at 11oclock spot is eating now, too.
no sign the chick at 7oclock spot has a fish.

Thank you for sharing those marvelous on site photos. I don't know which would be my favorite if i had to chose. Maybe the one of Mom looking down at you from her tree perch.

I could not fail but notice in your over head flight photos of our chicks - They are FAT - Mom may be a single parent now, but there is no doubt that she is succeeding. And though Dad is not standing down on the bar demonstrating fishing techniques, the chicks have gotten the idea. I have noted them down there quite a few times in the last few days.

Right now 4:06pm all three are on the nest eating!

I haven't had time yet to review my recording from when I was gone, but it looks like you all have everything covered

4:09pm well all are eating now so the 1 at 7oclock spot was obviously holding something I couldn't see
4:10pm nice poopsot from chick at 12oclock

4:21pm the chick from 12oclock spot is over at 11 and is not eating now. I see it calling out now and then

the others are still eating.

4:30pm was AFK: looks like the chick that moved over from 12 to 11 spot has taken over eating the fish that 11oclock was eating.

chick who was at 11 is now moved to 10ocock spot ...
chick at 7oclock spot still eating

4:34pm Kayakers going by on this side of the sandbar

I skimmed through the recording and picked out Mom inbound with the fish 3 times.

A side note - that is a fish every two hours.

Extraordinary s'caps BET! They are very exciting to look at -- I am amazed that they haul such large fish up out of the water and through the air to the nest (and how tall is that pole,anyway?).

Sharon.....Your pictures (and those of other observers along with commentary) are the icing on the cake! To see them like that just shows how healthy they are. Thank you for taking the time to not only photograph but figure out how to post here. Please post often!

I quite agree, Terry, And it's especially wonderful when we can see something happen from two perspectives - as with arkyquest and BET's pictures of the arrival of the giant fish.
