7:30 pm. One is still on the post and seems quite content to be there surveying the territory.

8:02pm............I was surprised to see a chick on the post when I logged on........never seen one there before! I quickly ran to my kitchen to pick up my cup of tea and when I returned there was another one here.........now all 3 are present. The chick on the left is gulping away at the food. The newly arrived one is trying to stare that chick into giving him some too and the one on the post doesn't seem to care. Judy, I too, would be honored to have such beautiful birds in my yard! Now how do I go about attracting and osprey or an eagle??

8:15pm........The 2 that were in the nest took off..........missed their exit! Now the one on the post has decided to come back closer to the nest.

7:20pm..........That chick was watching all around for a while and then flapped his wings and flew off down towards the river. Within a minute a chick landed on the nest coming from the left. Was this the same chick that just flew away? Don't know for sure but I think it is highly likely.





And now I look back at the nest and it is gone again!!

It is so good to see these chick getting food and being so active now! Way to go Mom!

It is great to see the lets so active. In fact, they are so active now they all left the nest and I missed it.

It is 9:40 pm, do you know where your osprey chicks are? NO!

Are they all going to spend the night off the nest?
