2:01 pm Patience finally pays off. Fish-let flapped and the chick at 3 moved in for the steal - success.
2:05 pm Finally free to fly but doesn't, rather the chick at 12 lifts off. The fish is disappearing at 3, lots of pulling going on so must be rather a tough go now.
2:11 pm Our wandering one returns so now back to three on the nest. Quite windy but there is a hint of sunshine at last.

Unbelievable!
2:27 pm Mom flies in with another good-sized fish and unless I missed something around 2:20 pm, the fish was delivered to our let that has not yet left the nest today (our fishlet).
Of course, hot on Mom's heels fly in the other two lets, one who just finished off the other fish, but this is incredible.
2:32 pm A few bites are taken, with a sibling's hot breath on our fishlets neck.:p
Now probably afraid to move so back to standing on a fish. Mom remains on the nest, riverside facing her brood.
Bet, did you see it the same, the same let with the fish earlier has this one too?
Looking at your post, I guess that you did.

3:24 pm
Mom is still on the nest with the chicks and the fish is still intact.

3:25 pm
Mom flew off.
Of course, now that Mom's out of view the chicks squabble over the fish.

I missed that, Judy. Did you see if the fish changed talons?
It seems like such a waste of time for the youngsters to just sit on the nest all day.
I had hoped to see them flying about more today and maybe trying to fish a bit.
Well, I must get something done around here.

JD, I haven't a clue who won that round. I'm sure it won't be the last fight before someone decides to eat it today.
3:53 pm
Chick at 6:00 is finally working on the fish.

Mom arrived --- has she brought hone another fish?
4:01 pm
The chick at 6:00 continues to eat and if there is a fish then the chick at 12:00 has it but I have yet to see it.

4:13 pm
Three chicks on the nest and Mom is gone.
