8:21pm...........3 chicks on the nest when I logged on..........immediatley 1 flew off to the left. 2 chicks were remained there and they were clearly watching that other chick fly around. That chick that flew off was only gone a minute or two and then he returned from the right side of the screen.

8:28pm...........One of the chicks decided to move a couple of sticks around and then had a little lay down. The other 2 are still watching to the left. I'm so glad that Mom is back to her food gathering again. These chicks ate well today and every day that passes increases the chicks' chances of survival!! Way to go Mom!!

Something chased the gulls from the sandbar.

The trio pick their perches on the rim which seems to be their usual routine when evening rolls around.

Chicks were reacting to someone flying overhead. Whatever it was passed by quickly and they settled down.

Stirred up again. all looking toward the hydro pole -- Possibly Mom arrived.

9:16 pm
Dusk is rapidly setting in.
The chicks have been standing quietly in the same spots for a few minutes now.


Time for me to say

Hi and Night All

I fell asleep after dinner - I meant to pick out that "Temper Tantrum" and post it, but - Sleep won out. I will get it tomorrow. It's not a "timely" thing. Just, in it's on way - humorous. I tried to trace the chicks movements to make sure it was the "hungry one" , But my cam stream froze and by the time I got it back up, chicks were in different spots. But by her behavior over not getting the fish remains - I am sure it was the "hungry one"

Off to bed to sleep again -probably had just enough already that I will toss and turn

Cam switched to daytime colour
There is a larger bird at the sandbar fishing or bathing out in the water.

Poopshoot by chick on the rim then he promptly flew off. I missed the stream and the fly off.

Now a second chick has flown off. Missed his fly off as well.
One left on the nest.
