Dad came with a little fish but took it to eat by himself. Mom noticed and started to walk over.

The last three pictures I just posted were done from the Mac. Previous ones were done with a PC. I managed to use Grap to take s'caps and convert the files to .jpeg!

I think I need to lay down now.

Lilly - you might need your modem replaced. You can take it in to your provider and have it checked. (At least my provider does that service and gives me a new modem if needed. Only takes a couple of minutes)

AND regarding our pair not adding things of interest to the nest - perhaps the humans are at fault - poor weather has not been conducive to their outdoor clandestine behavior ! :p Wooh :oops:

Happy to read at least one more pair has made it back.

===============
Just after 1:00pm Mom flew in

She poked about in the nest bowl and then started moving the grasses about. I started paying attention - a good sign? - nope - just interior decorating.

Dad flew in -

picked about in the sticks on the nest rim and found a bit of left over which he began to eat - Mom realized he had something and immediately moved up next to him - head down to check it out. Too late, it was gone by the time she arrived.

Dad left - Mom still standing on the rim just river watching.

Mom O just standing in the rain - at least she doesn't look as scraggly as the Norfolk Eagle did in their heavy rain storm

BET, I love that shot of Mom spread on the nest --- won't be long now before there are eggs but I hope they hold off until the weather warms up again.

6:28 a.m.
Mom has been the only O on the nest since I turned on the camera.

Dad arrived home with a small stick and is busy placing it on the nest. He didn't stay home but for a minute or two and flew off again.

Mom on the nest and Dad flew in with a new clump of grass. He is working to stuff it in the spaces between the sticks on the perimeter of the bowl.

He's off again. Mom remains standing in the middle of the nest. She has been there most of the morning. The rain has stopped for now but it is windy.
