6:36p Cam just went down again

Lilly, the cam was down all morning. I don't know when it came back up as I was out and about. It was up at 4:00pm MDT

When the cam is down, and you check to see if it's back up, don't just click on the arrow head in the middle of the black screen, Refresh/reload your internet connection (firefox of I E ) then click on the arrowhead.

The date time bar has been installed by EnMax IT dept. It appears on the stream and is constantly updating by the tenth of second. I asked them if they would do it and sent them a sample of another cam's date time stream. AND they did it. I sent them a big thank you. I hope you all like it as much as I do.

EDIT: AS I TYPE THIS THE CAM CAME BACK ON LINE

Hi BET,

Thank you very much. Do you know if the camera go down again this evening? It is 9:15 Calgary time and the camera is down -- at least, for me. I use Safari and have tried restarting the computer but it is still down.

I also tried clearing the history.

Maybe I have to restart the wireless connection.

Good morning Calgary

7:47 a.m.
Mom is on the nest alone this morning and doing a bit of interior decorating. I haven't been here but for a few minutes so it's possible Dad has been here and gone.

7:59 a.m.
Dad arrived home --- poked about on the nest for a bit and flew off again at 8:01 a.m.

After staying up till all hours, trying three different computers, ensuring flash players were up to date, clearing caches and histories and restarting computers, the camera would still not work for me!

What a joy to sign on this morning and see the osprey.

Thank goodness.

Have a great day everyone! And thank you for your help BET.

So glad your computer decided to cooperate this morning. I thought of one more thing you could put in your try to fix it list. Disconnect your modem that connects you to your server company. Wait 2 - 3 minutes and reconnect.

After the problem was happening with three computers I began to wonder about the modem. We have had problems with it in the past. I am glad, though, that the problem was solved this morning.

I was out most of the morning and drove past the Lafarge plants. At last, there are ospreys building at one of the nesting sites but the others remain empty.

Our nest is looking so good. The Os are doing a lovely job but I have not noticed anything odd (bra, joe boxers, gloves) so far this year. Maybe because we had so many wind storms over the past 2 months there are lots of branches to use.
