Beans and Nightowl, watch when the cam moves, and on the screen it will have numbers and "N" or "NE" etc. telling us the direction. I just figured that out! Titter........

6.53 Trills!
7.03 Parent returns to nest and settles on eggs, reassumes incubating.

Beans, a marked video would be great! Nodding yes

I'm still so turned around and confused as to what direction we're looking.

From the Greggs' tree to the nest should be a slight angle from the east...and a tad south. I'm going to see if I have a copy of Doug's map somewhere on this computer. (I'm hopeless at scanning the one I have from the book. Roll eyes )

Thanks for the directions, Jill, but I can still turn them around! Green LOL *ahem* I can point right while saying left...and vice versa.

Yes, you can see it pan mostly N and NE. When we first played around with it, we had it going all directions, even looking at the ground below the camera. What a hoot! The slightest touch sends the PTZ out of orbit! I wish I had taken some screenshots of those strange, but highly interesting, views.

So we know that the nest is North of the camera tree.

Hi Nightowl, Beans, and Hornby friends!

Part of my adjustment deals with the light. In this scap the cam has moved closer, and the sun has moved further west (left) making it look lighter. Parent is visible in nest incubating.

Thanks JIll! The only thing I'm certain of at this point is, I do see a white head in the nest! Green LOL You'd think as high as they've built the nest this year, the WA could be used as the CU...if it worked.

7:56PM @#&%^*$! The cam just went black on me.

ETA...

What the??? I refreshed, and now it says 'missing plug in' on both the cam and chat. Bash computer

wave Nightowl! What! I hope you can get it back! Give me that hammer!Titter

Just like that the Golden Tree is gone, but look across the water and how the island there is lit up by the evening light! Just beautiful. A plane just flew over and the vibration cleared my sinuses! Green LOL
ETA: The name of the island across the way (Up/North) is Lasqueti according to chat.

OK, I was almost ready to go off to bed when the cam got a zoom into the nest. I could swear that both Ma and Pa are there...
