Thank you, Castor, for the view of the egg and the river!

Off Topic: Today I read about the welfare of the Iberian Lynx. If you drink wine, ask for a bottle with a cork, please.

How sad to read that an egg was lost. It's been one of those years...

Here is a very interesting article I found about Bonelli's Eagles!

Thanks for the interesting article, Terry. The one about the Imperial eagle was a good read too. Who knew there were SO many kinds of eagles?? :dunno:

Thank You Cal for posting pics of our newest baby!! I'm so glad that this egg hatched after the loss of the other one. This is a pretty rare eagle and they need all the baby Bonelli's they can get!! Clappinglove

What a cutie!! It looks pretty much like our bald eagle bobble heads. Wub

Per the site listed below, the Bonelli's Chick was born on April 15th.

Google translation: "Yesterday, was born April 15 chicken that Bonelli's nest can be seen live via this website. Unfortunately the other egg is spoiled and was withdrawn by the female days ago. The male has made several dams and hope that everything runs smoothly."

“Ayer, día 15 de abril nació el pollo de perdicera del nido que puede ser observado en directo a través de esta web. Desgraciadamente el otro huevo se malogró y fue retirado por la hembra días atrás. El macho ha aportado varias presas y esperemos que todo discurra sin problema.”
