Richard told us a few days ago that dying wasn't easy but it was made so much easier with the support of family and friends.
Today we know that grieving is also not easy, but the burden is lifted with the support of our HWF family and friends.

Shirley and family, you have my deepest heartfelt sympathy.
Thank you so much for sharing Richard with us over the years. He was an extraordinary man and you must be so proud of the legacy he leaves behind. He will not be forgotten.

I am terrible at saying goodbye so instead I will say........See you again one day Richard, and thank you for everything. You have earned your wings love

~Judy~

To Shirley and the entire Pitt family---my thoughts and prayers are with you today. I hope it helps to know how much Richard was loved and respected by all of us here at HWF. Even those of us who never had the priviledge to have met him in person called him friend. We will surely miss this very special man who touched the lives of so many. Soar high and pain free with all the mighty and beautiful eagles that have gone before and are waiting for you, Richard. You loved them so. Thank you for being you. Red Heart

My condolences to Shirley and all the family at this time. Richard will be with you always in spirit and in the memories you have stored away of your time with him.

He touched many people over the years and will be missed for his humour, love of wildlife, cmputer 'know how' and his friendship. I was privileged to meet him on two or three occasions at events associated with the Sidney eagle nest.

Richard, be at peace. Red Heart
