Debs and jkr-----if you go back to this post you will find out that there are 7 bald eagles in this enclosure! WOW!! Lots of other interesting "stuff" too. Grin Maybe you might want to move that post to the beginning of the section about this nest under the introduction...it is from the Director of Education at the CRC.

6:05 p.m. EST, Parent switch.

Savannah had been standing up and looking at her eggs this afternoon more often than previously seen. Will we see pips in the light of day tomorrow? For this switch, Savannah left before Derek actually got onto the nest.

I didn't know they had four. All this time I thought there were only two.

I think Debs made a typo and meant there are 4 bald "eagles" visible and not 4 bald "eggs" visible. Titter

Jkr wave Yes I definitely meant to say four bald eagles visible Titter Titter Titter not four eggs Grin too much multi-tasking in the early am and not enough coffee while trying to get ready for work besides hope you all had fun with that Cool....

I know I saw a picture of the three eggs, but can't find it now. Try as best I can, I have not seen more than two eggs in the nest bowl. That doesn't mean the third isn't there, just below view.

This image from late this afternoon. I enlarged the eggs. The markings on the one are probably just nest debris. I had hoped that it might be pipping. Also, I have not noted either parent "listening" to the eggs. Again,. doesn't mean it hasn't occurred.
