Thank you also to mjb and cococat9 for your kindest comments.

Today was a cold and clear day. The wind picked up around 3pm. There were no eagles in the WR nest, so I went back to Kwomais Point Park in South Surrey. I met quite a few Sitting eagle fans there. Then after a long wait and everyone had left, just as the sun was setting and the light was incredible, I was rewarded for a long wait. Grin the next 12 images, click on them to enlarge.

Christian........wow!! Again you have captured such amazing pictures. I am in awe of how you are able to catch them so clearly in flight....showing such detail of feathers and formation. It is such a pleasure to see your pictures. Thank you so much!

Christian, Marvelous photos. I love the sub-adults and the adult taking off from the top of the pine is great!
The glow of the sun on the eagles is very pretty to see.

OMG Christian! These are absolutely wonderful to look at over and over again. The lighting makes the pictures very special. What a sight to see these magnificent huge birds perched a top delicate branches. Thanks again for sharing.
