1:14 This cam seems to be getting worse. There's a parent on the nest now, but not even worth posting a s'cap.

6:50 could barely make out a parent's white head on the nest, now s/he's gone. Not worth putting a s'cap here, the cam is so bad.

From the Jordan Lake Facebook page this morning. Sad

Jordan Lake EagleCam
Its with a heavy heart that I have to report that getting the eaglecam back online is looking unlikely this year. The team has spent the past week and a half working on it, at this point we are all really stumped as to why we cant get a clear strong signal any more. The next step is to replace transmitters, antennas and receivers with more powerful versions. Unfortunately, by the time we order that equipment, test it, and get it installed the chicks will have most likely fledged. Our focus now is going to shift to getting a more reliable system in place so we do not have these problems next year.

Nancy....After such a promising beginning to JL watching this year it's just a shame that we, and you in particular as their favorite aunty, won't be able to see them grow and fledge!! Sad Hopefully they will get this all settled by next season!!
