I could not sleep for the itching so Im up trying to stay saine. My friend sent this to me and I tihnk it has merit. So Iam going to leave this here for you to think about
I sure did.
ok here we go.Jean
It is called Maybe
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MAYBE
Maybe . .. . we were supposed to meet the
wrong people before meeting the right
one so that, when we finally meet the
right person, we will know how to be
grateful for that gift.
Maybe . .. . when the door of happiness
closes, another opens; but, often
times, we look so long at the closed
door that we don't even see the new
one which has been opened for us.
Maybe . .. . it is true that we don't
know what we have until we lose it,
but it is also true that we don't know
what we have been missing until it arrives.
Maybe . .. . the happiest of people
don't necessarily have the best of
everything; they just make the most of
everything that comes along their way.
Maybe . .. . the brightest future will
always be based on a forgotten past;
after all, you can't go on
successfully in life until you let go
of your past mistakes, failures and heartaches.
Maybe . .. . the best kind of friend is
the kind you can sit on a porch and
swing with, never say a word, and then
walk away feeling like it was the best
conversation you've ever had.
Maybe . .. . you should do something nice
for someone every single day, even if
it is simply to leave them alone.
Maybe . ... . you should try to live
your life to the fullest because when
you were born, you were crying and
everyone around you was smiling but
when you die, you can be the one who
is smiling and everyone around you crying.
Good Morning Jean.
Loved your "MAYBE" Here is one I did back in 1980
STRANGERS.....
To Look and see nothing.
To Speak with empty words.
To Listen and not understand.
To Touch without feeling.
FRIENDSHIP.....
To Look and see Clearly.
To Speak with Truth and Trust.
To Listen and Grasp the Meaning.
To Touch and Feel warmth.
LOVE.....
To Look and see All the Good.
To Speak and Share Sweet Thoughts.
To Listen and Hear Violins.
To Touch and Discover SPRING.
I love Jass, Walzing and and a wee bit of Kentucky bluegrass. But Jazz comes ist for me.
A lot of people also listened to swing and bop music. Swing and bop also had a lot in common. Both were played in small groups, and usually had only a couple of instruments such as a trumpet, a saxophone, a piano, a bass and some drums. In the mid 1930’s it was said, "Swing is the king". Some people think that the 1930’s were the only years that jazz was popular.
Another kind of popular jazz music was bebop. Bebop was born in the 1940’s. Some other names for bebop were bop and simply bop, but simply bop was created later in bebop’s life. Bebop musicians were usually Black; most had been poor during their early years. The bebop revolution was somewhat rhythmic, while swing tunes were played with four beats as the time signature.
Jazz started with the Blues, which was created by the African Americans. It’s called the Blues because the singer sings about bad things that happened to him or her, like loneliness or heartbreak. If you feel bad, some people say that if you play the Blues you will feel happy. That is very strange, because blues means not feeling so great.
The Africans created call and Response. The call in Call and Response means to "ask a question". In jazz, that means to play a section of a song. The response in Call and Response means to "copy the question". In jazz, that means to play the same music as the call. It’s like the game "Follow the Leader", because the response copies the call, just like the people copy the leader.
Dixieland is a form of jazz that is based on New Orleans’ music style. This music is a very cheerful, happy, tap-your-feet kind of music. It also is called "ragtime".
played in parks on Sunday afternoons for people of all ages to enjoy.
