I forgot this s'cap from about 4:15 nest time. Indy is up off the eggs and listening to the chick and having a good look at the egg.

Right after this s'cap, Indy got up just long enough to swallow that rodent and they zoomed way in on the eggs...Got a real good look at the eaglet inside the one egg and could see movement on/in the second one. They moved the cam so fast and focused it so often there was no chance for an s'cap--darn it!!

OK - I did my homework giggle - Pigeon Forge is near the eastern edge of Tennessee and is on eastern time the same as Maine.

(Did you see I have a little video of the egg on the previous page?)

I did see your video on the last page, JudyB. I was trying to watch it and discovered that I had to update Flash Player--AGAIN!! That was exactly the closeup that I was mentioning above that I couldn't get an s'cap from. I'm glad that you caught the little video! Smile

Thanks, Mary! I know that sometimes I miss the last post on a page, and thought I might have caught the shot you wanted. Smile

And yes, Flash Player can be annoying!

It's a little after 9:30PM and Indy looks a little unhappy and hot to me.

Sorry---this pic might be a little big...I have enlarged the screen to watch the cam. Roll eyes

11:15PM nest time--Poor Indy...she had enough problems with the heat earlier and now it's raining on her.

I did catch a real fast look at the eggs when she wiggled around and both eggs have fairly large holes in them...it shouldn't be long now!! Maybe by morning we will have a set of "twins" here. Egg hatch: Egg hatch:

Indy(?) was just up to roll the eggs - only got a very blurry s'cap, but it looked as if the chick was starting to work on the line around the shell that will let it split in half.
