It is very exciting to anticipate the eagles approach, yet I find all y'all just the best medicine for smiles and joy! Thank you for your joyous enthusiasm.

Doug and Sheila are back, the cam is back (thank you Richard), Mom and Dad are back, all is well with the world.

Can't wait to see the nestorations, stick dances and arguments , and that gorgeous view.

Bairbre I couldn't have said it better. Now I'm anxiously waiting to hear a trill or see them in the nest! Here's to a successful new eagle season. Sitting eagle Sitting eagle and ....

WOW! I don't check in for a couple of weeks and everything happens. Mom and Dad back. Cam up. New thread for the season - and no chat! Things couldn't be better. So thrilled that our parents are back safely. I haven't yet seen an eagle in our valley, but the hawks are migrating through, and I check the sky and the treetops every time I'm out and about.

So happy to be back with the Hornby Eagles.

wave Good evening all.
Checked in on the nest several times during the day - no sightings of either Ma or Pa, but did hear some distant trills this afternoon around 3:30.Did hear crows and a flicker, and the starlings are back also - oh, and lots of gulls. Looks like the nest is going to need some serious renos - Pa will be thrilled - until Ma decides she knows better. Titter I'm simply awed by the fact they are 29 and have been bonded for as long as they have. Clapping

Good nightall, and sweet dreams. Red Heart
