Mom Hornby is back also! On our morning walk there was a great squawking as we went past Grassy Point - an eagle in the His and Hers Tree. Wow it was noisey, but great to hear. Then there was another answering call from the nest area - just as loud. I think they were excited to be back home again. When we got back home, the other eagle was in the Babysitting Tree. So it looks as if another season is starting in good order. And to think they are now around 29 years of age!

Absolutely wonderful news Doug to hear that Dad Hornby has returned.Now maybe I will be able to settle in one place again. It's time to stop flitting all over the internet trying to get a "bald eagle fix"!
