Hey Mishka! :hello:

Yes, I noticed that, but is it official? I know the owner of the property the nest is on is a retired helicopter pilot, and to name the chicklets, he's using the military code for the alphabet...or however that goes. Last year it was Charlie and Delta, so following the alphabet, this year would be Echo and Foxtrot. I guess no one told him of the loss we suffered with our little Echo or he might have changed his mind.

It is great to see the nest again. Not quite what I am used to. I know I sure miss the comments from Doug as far as things going on in his life. It really was exciting to know the life he is leading now that he is retired.
I remember Doug - we had chatted awhile back about my 3rd grade class and you said you would be willing to answer some questions they might have. I have been so excited by their interest and knowing you taught, it is something in common. I teach the students in Oostburg Wisconsin. I would love to hear that maybe you could chat a bit with my class. You have been such an inspriation after I have been sharing your book with the kids, and the great things about the nest and wonderful Ma & Pa Hornby. If I ever had a chance I would love to come to the island to visit. I know this is more directed to you Doug and I say hello to everyone but am hoping I get some info from Doug. I wish I knew if there was another way to get in touch if you, I hope you and your wife are good and continue to enjoy your retirement.
