The 12 Steps of Eagle-holics

1: We admitted we were powerless over eagles--that our lives had become unmanageable.
2: Came to believe that an eagle greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
3: Made a decision to turn our eyes over to the cam and board as we understood it.
4: Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of our fellow posters.
5: Admitted to the eagles, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our postings.
6: Were entirely ready to have the eagles remove all these defects of character.
7: Humbly asked the eagles to remove our shortcomings.
8: Made a list of all eagles we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all via habitat conservation.
9: Made direct amends to such eagles wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or other eagles.
10: Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly helped an eagle.
11: Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with the eagles praying only for knowledge of their will for us, and the power to carry that out.
12: Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to eagle-holics everywhere, and to practice these principles in all our postings.

This thread is for all eagle lovers to discuss our eagles or anything we want and to stay in touch.

wave Sal....Zeak met Sunshine once before & it went well. When they brought Max over tho, they had a rough start. Z grabbed Max & Max wacked him once on the muzzle. For 2 days Max hid out & only appeared when Z was outside. The 3rd day Max came sauntering across the living room like he ruled the place. I guess he did. Grin He can even run now & Z will follow but not so much chase anymore.

One day I couldn't find Sunshine after I'd been in the garage with the door open. I thought I'd lost him for sure. I called in Z & he quickly sniffed out Sunshine hiding in the garage. Phew I did not want to have to tell Charlotte I lost her cat. Smile

Mike & I have been treated to many an entertaining cat show as well as an education. Titter

Jean, I remember you ask about the cat stories, too. wave

ByebyeHappy New Year's Evening,

Just look at that, a 2014 day almost gone already!

Ohhhh Texie, I love those cats. Sunshine looks like my dear departed Punkin and Max like my also gone Fredrick (the one who was gone so long & came back on my son's birthday). They are both so pretty.
Z and Nottie look so pretty together.

Sal, Love seeing you and your sweet kitty.

Lovely HNY cards everyone has posted.

Linda, Your eagle photos are outstanding.

Elle, Makes me feel good that Pandiemanlove is getting along with the dog.

Have you all been seeing the story of eagle deaths in Utah? Here's a video of
one that was rescued by a family in Bountiful, Utah.

http://www.kutv.com/news/top-stories/st ... 8783.shtml

Here's what they believe is killing the eagles there (eared Grebes that are infected).
Scary and so sadCry to think how many may have this illness.

Have a Great Night Everyone. Will try to get the rest of my thoughts up tomorrow.Big hugsRed Heart

Cute pics of your extended pet family Naoma. Smile
Good to hear they're getting along. Cat shows can be pretty entertaining. Oddball little creatures at times. Titter

Thanks for the bald eagle stories Annie. Hopefully the virus hasn't affected too many more.
