I have not been able to watch most of today, but when I have - Mom has been lying - not standing - in the nest bowl. The prelude to eggs? She is a bit spread out in this image at 5:55pm today

Just able to access the camera - it's been at least 2 hours that I have been trying. Mom is comfy lying in the nest bowl and Dad standing watch over the river. They have improved the "filter" adjustment so the evening colors are back

Maybe an egg tomorrow?

Hail is pelting Mum as she lays on the nest bowl

The weather report says it's light snow.

I have to wonder if Mum is in labor. The light snow continues. She has left the nest a couple of times since 1000 am when it started, but keeps coming back to lie in the nest bowl. She is now getting covered with snow.

What an wonderful example of the amount of insulation the Osprey feathers have as well as their water repellent features
Here is Mum, covered in snow, not a bit of it melting as her feathers keep her body heat in.
