Yeah, we have a camera this morning and is it ever a wet looking morning.
Mom is awake with her head feathers blowing in the wind.

Dad is home but didn't bring any breakfast.
Mom is still incubating the eggs.

8:09 am
Dad has moved closer to the camera area and proceeds doing a few nestorations on the rim of the nest.

8:10 am
Dad flew off.

8:11 am
Mom gave the eggs a quick roll and settled in again.

8:16 am
Dad's home again with some small blackish looking item. It's blended into the nest near the 12:00 area.
He now tries to dislodge the "Jockey" underwear but it's firmly planted in the nest. Titter

8:18 am
He's off again.
I love when he comes and goes like this and watching Mom's reaction. She barely pays any attention to him. Green LOL

12:15pm MDT

The rain seems to have stopped. Dad landed on the nest with a small fish. Mom never budged. He waited for several minutes and when she still did not make a move for the offering, he flew off with it

7:00pm MDT

Starting around 6:00pm MDT, Dad returned to the nest and he began sky watching. He started defensive maneuvers, wings spreading and twisting and turning looking almost straight up. He suddenly took off. In less than a minute he was back on the nest

He resumed the defensive postures. This one tickled my funny bone as he evidently tripped while looking up and not where he was going

Dad took off and returned to the nest at least 3 more times in the next hour. Always looking almost straight up and spread wing defensive posturing. Mom never budged from her brooding position.

About 6:50pm Dad took off again and has not returned to the nest. So perhaps the intruder has taken off to other parts of the river.

Mom is on the nest in the rain. She gave her head a shake to get rid of the raindrops.

I see we have new grass on the nest since Tuesday.

So far this morning I haven't seen Dad. Mom has been crouched down into the nest as flat as she can get to keep the eggs dry. Dad's probably found a sheltered place to perch.
I can't even imagine the fishing to be very good today with the rain they are getting.
