10::42 am MDT
At 10:40am Dad arrived on the nest. Began sky watching. He took a defensive posture and then a shadow passed right over the top of the nest. Then Mom stood up and went threatening. The unwanted visitor passed off just to the side of the nest in camera view. Both O's remained standing, heads swiveling following the path of the visitor. At times I thought there might be two unwanted O's as Dad would be facing one way and Mom the opposite as if each was following a different bird. The third pass was quite close on a level with the nest. This seemed to be the last close fly by. This all took place in a two minute period. Both of our O's stayed on alert after the third pass and a few minutes later Dad took off.
There are five images in the sequence

Dad arrives. No fish for Mom, but he does take over nest duties allowing her to stretch and go fish for herself.
