Ayla

Just waiting for the stew to finish cooking, got a late start making it, it's already 6:30pm.
How's everyone doing? We have been gettinga lot of snow but raining now, may turn back
into snow before the night is over though.

Velma, I was wondering if you are going to archive this years thread soon? This year is almost
up and the forum is loading really slow now. Did you get all the Christmas decorations up outside?
Love to see pictures if you did!! k?

Stella, so sorry you didn't get to go to China, how disappointed you and hubby must be. We would have loved going on the trip with you, lol.

Jean, I really hope the drops will work on the eye. My, but you seem to be quite the traveller lately!!
Winter roads and all!! but I guess, if you have to go to appointments, you have to do what you have to do, right!!
Glad you are going with your son, as he will be extra careful with his Mom in the car!!

ttyl, waving to E1 passing thru.

(DW's op is in a few days now.)

:nite sleepy wave My Sitting eagle has her nest all ready and soon she will be sitting in snow I bet. like last season. Black Water Refuge, app. they have mated so the lady said. The male looks after her food for her and lays down beside her somtimes when the snow is hi. THat amazes me that she can have those eggs hatch. She has 2 babies last year and she sure looks after them. Quite the eagle,

Good Morning! Not a bad day here so far! 0 degrees C or 32F. No snow, now rain and no wind, although it is overcast.

Sorry I mis-understood about your eye Jean - I did read calcium, but guess i read too quickly and it didn't sink in Nodding yes

Hi Ayla - nice to see you! I actually don't archive threads, I guess the admins do, but I don't think there are enough pages here to bother. It is the nest threads that they archive every year to keep the seasons separate. The forum is running slow these days, especially if you have Telus. I think part of it is all the updates that have to be done with WildEarth and the cams. I would imagine that the speed will improve. Christmas decorations are done. I did a short video of the lights, but it isn't that good  I have to practice a bit more with doing video.

Have a good day everyone!!

Velma, love the videos on youtube. Spooky playing in the water at the sink is priceless, lol
and your outdoor Christmas display is awesome....got a charge out of your Hubby yelling to you, "want me to turn it up, Mom?" Really pretty, Velma, well done!
About the forum running painfully slow here, I have Telus and no other forum or site I go to runs this slow.
And there is nothing wrong with my computer. I don't believe it is the server (telus) but it could be the software here.

getting late so off to bed now, Good night

:hello:E1 passing thru.

Afternoon folks! We've had a relatively mild day today - staying at 0C 32F. It tried to snow this morning, and about 10 flakes came down! There is still frost on the grass where the sun didn't hit it today though.

Been busy out in the shop today - we have the lid for one chest done, and the other is laminated together. Once it is routered, then the job ob sanding will begin. I don't have to help with that!!!!

got the dusting done, and am almost finished vacuuming. I needed a break to sit a spell, so popped in. Hope everyone is having a good day!

What a day I had!!! a session with the ear specialist and she was a very busy woman trying to get ,my new ear plugs wrorking to my likeing ( haha) I now have them and must say that there are pretty decent, In so far as I do not have to worry about them as they are set to my hearingland the telephone Neat huh? The cost was terrific but you have to do what you have to do.. right we were there for over two hrs. I go back on the 10th.to see if any adjustment is needed. Very nice. I finally got my Christmas cards and found one with Merry Christmas. and a Happy New Year. No holiday for me.I am not liking that much Christmas is what we celebrate....and how I love it. WE all do I think.
Your place looks lovely and I too got a kick out of your cat and dog. They so seem compatable That Rust y is so cute.. and I like the grey and white cats.
After the eye session went to see the Dr. She was thrilled that we brought her a ,lovely poinsetta in a cute basket. A GREAT DR. I still have my itch but she gave me a tube of cream to put on it. that is all I need. Hope it gets better soon, my nerves are scares now.Really. I did something to my computer again and now it won,t print nicely. I am sure not doing great huh? Lady luck a has left me ... well live and learn . Hi Stella and Ayla. So goodnight and stay safe its 9C and overcast.
