This is a bit of an experiment. If it works, we'll have a relatively concise summary of what happened at the White Rock nest in 2011, with links to relevant posts in the White Rock Discussion thread and possibly other threads, a few pictures, and possibly some links to video archives when they become available.
My plan is to start out by doing a post once a week, summarizing what happened that week. As things get more active, there may be a couple of posts per week. And I'm hoping for a post a day once there are chicks (keeping my fingers crossed for a successful nesting season as I type).
If you see something interesting or strange or just wonderfully typical of behavior on the nest - please PM me with a link to the discussion about it! I will be trying to review as many posts as I can while I update this thread - but I know I'll miss some things, and because I'm not watching this nest myself full time (there's this thing called work....) - I may not understand the importance or relevance of some pictures or observations unless someone fills me in.
Note: No promises about keeping this up to date! I'll add to it when I can, but do have a husband, a job, two cats, and a number of other responsibilities - so some weeks will be more complete and some entries more timely than others.
I am looking for helpers - if you're interested, please let me know.
And happy eagle watching!
