yup that's all very true Nanc, it is a dilemma in that relocating to a new area others will kill her. I love watching The Exterminators and anyone who does knows that Billy goes to great lengths to not harm any animals. There were episodes though where alligators landed in private ponds and were putting the people, pets, animals and small kids at risk. In Louisianna and likely other states, if they exceed a certain length it is ILLEGAL to relocate them and they are to be shot on the spot and removed. Billy did a couple with a FWS person. Some people and animals cannot coexist and there just isn't always an easy answer as much as we'd like one

have a fun day out Judy!

see you all at the show Mates :hello:

wave Tx…Nope, not a single one heard or seen...not even from the neighborhood kiddos who usually sneak use them...since it is illegal in the city limits. The police usually ignore them...unless they get a complaint....then normally just issue a warning. Smile
Grand-gal Meg came to spend the weekend. She was so anxious to see the pretty night sky display from the Grand Prairie Lone Star Park Race Track...but it was not to be this year.
We have watched it from my front yard ever year since they opened. Always a big attraction in our area…most in our neighborhood would come out and stay from beginning to end.
Not sure why it was cancelled this year. We’ve definitely had plenty of rain…couldn’t have been due to dry conditions…maybe just the economy in general? :dunno:

Carolyn, we have laws against bothering alligators here too! Also, there are signs about 30 feet from where the gator was located warning about danger. They even put up a rope fence. There is no way to protect animals from foolish people who obviously cannot read.

Maybe it is a reading problem.

Lori and Jean, the firecrackers were in my neighborhood. Poor Abigail would not go out to relieve herself until this morning!!!! Whistling Dogs and firecrackers! NO
