Hi again my friends, Before I take off for a day on the rivers I wanted to tell Candy that I'm so glad that her O2 saturation is improved and the O2 is not needed for now. It sounds like you had a great visit at the doctors. Glad to hear you are planning on stopping the smoking, it will make a big difference. My Dad was a heavy smoker and died at 52 years of age. He was a very good man and Dad, I was only 19 when he passed on from a heart attach. There were no information being given to the public about the horrible effects of cigarettes on the lungs and vascular system in the 60s. I know you can do it Candy, I will be praying for your healing and success quiting the smoking.
Jean, I'm pulling for you too my friend, I know you can also kick that habit.
Elle, I loved hearing Ian's wise thoughts. You are right my friend, all in time, humans will learn to respect nature and wildlife and stop the senseless killing.
I loved the shopping Penguin video.
I'm glad you found rest and peace with your meditation. I find mind in the Great Outdoors, it renews my soul.
Lori, Thanks for sharing that adorable photo of Rachel with us, she is a DOLL!
I'm heading out now and will see you all later.:hello:

Good Morning to the Nest.......!
Linda, I just glanced at TBOTD and your post and I am so glad you are weighing in with professional as well as personal advice for dear Candy, who I'm sure has been frightened and daunted about her health. (And Candy, hooray for the good news and prognosis you are getting!)
Linda, I just had to concur about the smoking as my father, who was a surgeon and a fairly heavy smoker, died way too early - had just turned 47! Heart attack. At that time, bypass was new "experimental" surgery. I was 21 years old - our experiences sound so similar. Dad was a big athlete, in good shape, champion swimmer, skiier etc. but had diabetes which complicated the heart health. In those days, all the doctors smoked! (Just like on Mad Men)
I'm 100% behind you two, jean and candy!!!
PJ, Happy Friday back to you! Hope yours is wonderful!
elle the penguin video was cute.
