:hello: (((((Anna))))) Love your pictures, GF. Left thumb up

The Magpie in flight is a beauty; Castle Marquette is magnificent; Heron(s) shots are great; Lovely scenic view in “Here is was really cold, a hard wind”. Thank you for sharing.

Hope you get your snow, GF & lots of pictures to share. hug

I found these GH Reports…Punxsutawney Phil…from Pennsylvania & Staten Island Chuck…from New York…they disagree…

Groundhog Report A Split Decision

“Old Wives Tale”…or…”Weather Rumor” has it:

Cold or warm on the 2nd doesn't count for the prediction. If it is a sunny morning on February 2nd & GH can see his shadow…it scares him & he goes back in his burrow…six more weeks of Winter ahead.

If it is a cloudy morning on February 2nd & GH can’t see his shadow he stays out to play…an early Spring is on the way.

I don’t really pay a lot of attention to Punxutawney Phil or Stanton Island Chuck…they are nowhere near me. Here in Irving, Texas it was a cloudy & foggy morning...

Ground Hoggie NonnieJean predicts an early Spring for North Texas. Grin

Mornin' Besties and big mantles to all hug I don't dare try to type out all the actual mantle brackets though, not good sooooooo not good today either! It may be working somewhere but it's forgetting to work on my left hand. Sad

Thank you for the start to our day Scott. I waited too long to go to Estonia and it is nearly dark there. Looks like what appears to be a fox in the snow with its prey. I will try to remember to go there earlier tomorrow or late tonight.

Linda, I hope you and “Mr. Mute” had a nice visit on the phone. Smile

Rose, You are so right about the girl clothes. I hate to shop but love to find stuff for Emma! Nodding yes

Good morning Sweet Jean!!!
Happy Groundhog’s Day back at ya! I just love Punxsutawney Phil. Did you ever see that movie, Groundhog’s Day? Titter

Anna, thank you for the magpie information. We don’t have them in Florida, but I saw them in Canada when my son worked there. Just beautiful birds.
Your pictures are so beautiful. I love seeing your country. Interesting about the castle. Never saw so many herons in one place. Beautiful shot of the one in the reeds. The picture of the place where there was a hard cold wind is wonderful. My imagination likes to follow that water, and see what is up ahead. hug Thank you for sharing.
I see Jean has a great description of Groundhog’s Day for you. It is a fun thing though.

Lori, awwww ! so sorry about that left hand. :cry1: Lit a candle and sat and concentrated on healing for your left hand too! Some days it is harder to remember that you are winning this battle. Love you!Red Heart Red Heart love

{{{{{{{{{Besties}}}}}}}}}}}} Wub I can mantle you now but not without it hurting. Seems no amount of pain meds can cut through this one. It has my index 'stooped over' and it will not respond to my trying to raise it. Every single nano inch it moves is excrutiating! Been watching NCTC and trying to pass time for this attack to stop.

thanks sweet {{{{{{{Nanc}}}}}}}} Wub and mantles to {{{{{{{Sue}}}}}}}} with chemo today. hug

Anna I think I have those shots of Ruud with his ride but kept them again in case Titter

Good afternoon :hello:

Nice s'cap of the Ravens & pic of the Magpie anna. Smile
The Magpies are so colorful when the sun hits their feathers.
Lovely pics from your bike ride. Beautiful property the castle is situated on.
Very cool to see that many herons in one spot. Great shots of them all.
Nice shots of Ruud's bikes.

Nice s'caps from the Estonian WTE cam Judy. Smile
The large black birds are Ravens, the smaller black and grey birds are Hooded Crows, and the smaller yet birds with the white are the Magpies.
There is a daily food drop there and it can vary. Frozen blocks of fish are left, and also road kill and other goodies.

Sorry you're not having a good day Lori. Sad

Wonderful pics and vids from your last trips to the rivers Linda. Smile

Cute "Groundhog Day" funny and cool wheels for Ruud, Tweets. Titter
