9:42a - Mom flies to the lookout for protection. Just look at her beautiful fantail.

Yes, there was alot of vocalizing.
If it's Dad in the nest, I believe I saw another eagle fly by the nest then towards the trees, then Mom flew in.

Dad feeling frisky....hmmmm any possibility of a 3rd egg????

This is only my 2nd year of watch eagle nests but there seems to be alot of intruders this year. Mom and Dad eagles must be ever vigilant. I get so nevous when I see a parent eagles leave the eggs unattended.

9:50a - Well Dad decides to fly up and mate with Mom then sit beside her for a bit.



9:51a - Both fly away off the lookout.

The pictures are beautiful. So clear and perfect. Thank all posters for sharing and doing all this work so we can enjoy watching this eagle pair. This is my first year with this pair. And I can't wait to see if Mom eagle lays another egg. But 2 is a good number.

9:53-:54a - Mom returns and pokes about but I didn't see a real egg roll though they
probably got pushed in all her poking.
