2:42pm......Wow, it is still windy today but a bit better than the other day with the stormy weather passing through. One eagle is on the nest, standing up, not covering the egg. This eagle seems interested in something above. Then shortly afterwards, it sank down again over the egg and pulled some straw up close.

:hello:Hi Jo! I guess I missed the egg roll.

HI All........It is Dad in the nest. He brought food for big mama but she hasn't been in to
claim it.

That is one solid nest. Well done mom and dad.
Weather is getting nasty. White caps on the bay.

4:02pm Poor Dad, he's looking so wet and wind blown. It almost looks like he's incubating the fish too

eta Okay maybe it's not a fish, I think I just saw a foot?

Hello All,
Another exciting season!
Have been watching the Sidney and Hornby nest since 2006 and so sad both are lost to us this year. And I haven't posted much the past couple of years, but I do watch the eagles and their offspring.
But these two are so much like the Sids, especially their "stick dancing" that I did watch them last year.
Hopefully the second egg will appear tomorrow or Friday.
Just wanted to say hello, will come back often.
