:hello: Dawn, How wonderful that you and your students are able to share in this exciting day.
A big Welcome to all of you!
The next egg will be in the next few days. Last year the second egg arrived on March 16th, three days after the first one which was the same as today's egg, the 13th of March.

If you aren't already aware, we have a Teacher's Forum here at HWF. I will post the link for you in just a little while. If you have any questions, please ask.

Welcome koko25, They truly are wonderful parents.

ETA: Dawn, Here is the link : forum/viewtopic.php?topic=851#851

Thank you Joanne, Carole, Tina, Jean and all for your reports and beautiful captures. It's been a
long journey to egg day and I'm so happy we've shared this fantastic experience. Thank you HWF for
making this possible!

Green LOL Jo, I was referring to Mom and Dad when I said they reminded me of Lucy and Desi because they are sooooo funny and entertaining. As you know, I think, the wee bobbles will be named by the property owner.

6:54pm.......Hi Joanne! At first the nest was empty but after a minute an eagle came in for a landing, much like a helicopter. I don't know if it is Mom or Dad.

Empty nest.....a tiny white dot in the middle.

Here's my video starting at 3:20p and running to 3:30p. I could swear I caught a glimpse of the egg at 3:21p. When she gets up you can see under the right side of her breast what looks to me like the egg. See what you think.

This one from 3:30-3:41p.

6:58pm.....The adult spent time pulling straw around and digging in around the egg area (looking for food bits?). Then finally the egg roll.
