I have to be out for a while but will be checking in and out.

8:46a.....one (dad?) hunkered down in the nest. No sign of the other


8:50a.........flew off to the left

8:41-49a - Dad comes in, does a little nestorizing but mostly from the bowl.



8:49a - Dad flies away.

9:15a...one in the nest.

9:26am.......Good morning Annie, Cococat, Arlene, Tina and all WR viewers! We have had some windy days before but this one is a doozie! There is one eagle in the nest, Mom I assume. It is having great difficulty staying balanced and is rocking back and forth in the moving tree. It will be hard to notice if Mom goes into a "laying egg" position today because she will already be crouching down in the nest just to hang on!







These are not the nicest conditions for egg laying......but it is supposed to be poor weather all week!

9:35am...........Mom's body is pitching forward and she is quite unstable on her feet in the nest. She is looking up at something. I guess she thought she would be better out of the nest because as soon as I took this picture she flew off!

9:34a - Even down in the bowl, it's hard for Dad to keep his body stable.



9:47a - No activity except for the wind of course.


HI Jean, Winds are really ferocious!

This just amazing to see them come to the nest kind of weather.
I'm having a hard time telling them apart today.
