Red Heart That is so darned cute, seeing brother and sister all snuggled in their nest. They both have been flying but it's like they really don't want to leave home! So adorable. Wub

3:35-:39p - So good to see sweetlets Echo and Foxy together. Foxy has two loose feathers on
his right wing. He pulled at them once in a preening fashion but then just ignored them.

Foxy quite restless up and down, preening while up....screeping too.

7.30 I'm an Indian too. - There is a feather sticking out the wing top right sideClick on image to download
These two are absolutely adorable. they are genuinely attached to each other and like being in each others company. Click on image to downloadPerhaps it brings back memories of cosy comforting warmth of feathers when babies. Even though they are truly fledged, they linger and return to the nest. If Foxy calls, Echo comes, and as often as not, will cuddle close together. Has anyone had experience of eagle siblings displaying this behaviour before?
Is it cold there just now, I see the wind seems to be quite strong and maybe chilly/ Perhaps thats why they are close together. When looking at this toleration of each other, it can make one wonder if this is why there are long term relationships between adult pairs, it does probably start in the nest and excellent parents.
