JudyB and Debs...Thanks so much for the great scaps of our Mom and big "girl"...I'm fairly sure this is the larger of the two eaglets. I've been checking the nest nearly every day looking for them. I guess I've been looking at the wrong times. sigh sign

Has anyone seen both of the parents in the past 2 days? After all ready I have been doing about the Eagle that was hit and killed on the 520 highway i looked at the map but I'm just not sure if this is the nest at the golf course or not. Does anyone know apppr. where the nest is?
hought that I read that it was on private property but I just can't remember now.
Thanks for any help you can give.

I haven't seen both parents, Jannice, but also haven't watched very often. I don't know where this nest is - but remember the pictures they posted when they went up to work on the cam, and I had the impression it was in a wooded area. I've also never heard this pair referred to as the golf course eagles - and, upon reflection, given the amount of news coverage, I'm sure it would have been mentioned if the eagle who was hit on the bridge might have been on a webcam. I am sorry to hear about the loss of any eagle - rest in peace, Dad Broadmoor, and fly free forever, far beyond the sky. Sad

No eagles since I've been watching, but lots of boats out on the lake - and possibly a flying saucer (though I suspect it's a boat with a lot of glare).

Here is a post by CovingtonKat that will tell you where these eagles are...they are indeed in someone's back yard in a 200 year old tree.

I checked the cam right after finding that post...SURPRISE!!! Our baby was there in the nest nibbling on a nice fish.

She got impatient and decided to gulp it down whole.

Thank you so much JudyB and MaryF
It is sad that this had to happen with Eddie the Eagle but I am so very happy that it isn't one of ours (to say)
That was great I didn't see the post about the news story so it was nice to see it.
Big thank you to CovingtonKat for posting about it

jannnicemull...I had hoped that would make you feel some better. It's still hard to hear of the death of a beautiful bald eagle!! Sad

Here are a couple more of our baby.

No words needed...how cute is this? Wub
