A few more ...

Hi Debs! Great scaps of the Eagles ~ the lighting was gorgeous

One week after your last scap, here is what the "nest" looks like!! Honestly, do you think there is any hope for this site?

Panda :hello: Your scaps sure is telling but we always have hope that they will nest here and if not here than some place with a nice big deck ~~ I guess Mom and Dad will keep us guessing for awhile yet....they probably are both enjoying their vacation and thinking "there is plenty of time yet"

Debs, with the weather we've had this past month, I can see where they probably think that it is still September rather than the end of October! Time will tell ....

Here's what happened yesterday ...

Sutton personnel, along with 2 volunteers from the local Eagle Watching chat groups spent 5 hours "rebuilding" the nest in hopes that the Eagles will want to nest there!! First wire panels were added around the bottom of the nest, then sticks were added, and then grasses. Finally mini logs were wired around the top of the nest with one of them jutting out a bit in hopes that an eagle would perch or branch to it!!. ... and this is the end result!!

PL :hello: This is fabulous news PL I am so happy :dry: I have been very busy past couple of weeks and had not realized Mom and Dad were being busy beavers repairing the nest.....great news woo hoo!!

I have been working on our HWF 2011 Eagle Calendar for the past week or so and today I am travelling about with Santa
dropping in at some of our eagle threads reminding everyone the last date to order this beautiful collection of memories is November 12. The HWF office is only accepting orders from Monday to Friday though they are closed on week-ends!



Now off I go with Santa we have a few more stops to make :hello:

Hi Debs!! I appear to have mislead you!!

HUMANs did all the renovation on the nest in the hope that the Eagles will pick that site! Apparently the eagles are working on the nest they used last year
