The winter storm persists....and you can
see the white caps on the lake at times and there
is some more snow in the bowl.

Hopefully Mom and Dad are hunkered down somewhere
warm and safe.

Nest is empty at the moment
but Mom and Dad both visited
earlier this morning.

The lake looks a wee bit frozen
today but the sun is shining and the weather
looks much brighter today.

Both are at the nest.

Debs...I'm sure the lake IS frozen. Oklahoma and Texas have had VERY cold and windy weather with that huge storm that is charging across the US and Eastern Canada. I'm in South Texas and the temps hovered in the mid twentiesF today with wind chills taking it to about 7F. We even have had rolling blackouts all day. That is VERY unusual for this part of the country...hope it starts to warm up soon!! Hope the eagles have a cozy hideout away from the weather!!
