In case anyone doesn't have the link to it, you should find it at the turtlebay.org website. I'll post a link as soon as they turn that baby on!

Meanwhile, here is a short video of the pair standing guard above and below their nest on Turkey Day..

Grin Nestorations are in full swing now gang!
Lots of action tonite! As I was driving over the bridge I saw one of the eagles carrying a stick to the nest. Then, when I got set up near the pond in my favorite filming spot, I watched Patriot break off a branch and fly into the nest with it, while Liberty watched from above the nest.

Good 'ole "Pat the builder" was at it for a while in the nest moving that stick around until it was just right!
Then Liberty flew down and put the stick where it should have been in the first place!Titter
So funny to watch this pair and their antics!Titter

Next, Liberty flew up from the nest to her mate and there was a lot of calling and pair bonding stuff with Patriot doing all he could to impress Liberty. I got some video of this part which I'll post shortly.
This first pic is of Liberty watching Patriot as he went after a stick...

The second pic is of Patriot right before he snagged the stick...

There is some kind of cam on right now. Appears to be live....time is counting down on it. The view is a straight down one. Can't see much of the branch that they use a lot. I hope that tomorrow will be back to the wide angle view until the babes are close to hatching. Turtlebay should have learned something from the CalTrans cameras.:dunno:

P.S. I had to type eagle cam into the search box in order to find the cam that I am looking at.

Smile Thank you for the update, itsgrama,

I tried earlier today a few times. Got nothing even though I did type eagle cam in the search box. Just looked in again and am now seeing a white video screen with the arrow. Progress. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Thanks for trying today itsgrama and CAL04, let's hope all is up and running tomorrow as scheduled!Left thumb up

I had a good time watching the 2 of them playing "Cat & Mouse" tonite!Titter Well, that's what it looked like anyway! They both flew by the nest area and over to the family tree area following each other closely 3 times in a row! I was waiting patiently for them to land in the nest area so I could film them, but it was enjoyable watching them flying like that!

Here's a video of the pair when they finally came in for a landing, Pat first, followed by Liberty...
