2:47PM Very calm and still at the moment. I'm here for a while. can hear distant eagle calls

2:59PM calling continues... seems nearer now (on the move maybe?) and somewhat agitated.

3:08PM more distinct trilling. possibly call and reply

3:23PM intermittent calliing continues. sometimes it seems so close I expect an eagle to come into view at any instant.


4:58pm It has been all quiet sine my last comment. (didn't realize it had been over an hour!)

5:08PM more calls ... not too near.

5;16PM eagle arrives to the nest; departs again very quickly

Someone just arrived, perched on the branch and then moved into the nest. And now up to another branch over the nest. I just love the view of boundary bay here!

Seems to be looking around and looked as if he/she was warning someone off at one point (I have the sound off so I can listen for eagles at Delta) - must admit with so many eagles in the area, it's not surprising that he/she would be cautious.

9:04 - eagle is perched on the branches out to the left of the nest bowl.
