Thank you for the video Bub.
10:40a - Dad remained perched for 5 mins. before flying out.
Mom continues brooding in the same position facing 10 (WA)...rocks
a little from time to time.
10:49-54a Feeding time...oh how sweet they are! Both are getting fed.
That was so nice and no bopping that time.
Mom does her rocks back over the little ones and settles facing 8.
10:57a - She starts trilling and gets partially up, then setttles back.
The CU keeps freezing and I had to log in AGAIN.
Lori ~ I knew by the crack that it would be no time at all. Unfortunately I had things
I just had to do. I saw the first once she got up and it was laying there still in the
egg. We are very lucky when we see the hatches.

Darlene - Thank you for the cutest/sweetest video. I laughed when it was happening
and again watching the video. They already have personalities!
11:05 - Mom got up and dug in the bowl around the chicks. She settled to brood
facing 2 (WA).
11:14a - She is calm. The sunshine has her breathing through her mouth.
It isn't windy at all right now.
She is so beautiful.
10:19 - Small plane overhead. Mom remains serene in the same position.

I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings

What a beautiful collage!

Video: Second Baby Eaglet at White Rock
A second eaglet hatched last night. We can expect to see pecking, but at one day apart, they are more evenly matched than eaglets two or three days apart.
Recorded at 9:55 AM local time

11:23-25a A little preening and three single calls....one more.
11:26-29a - The movement of the chicks under her disturb her a bit but
she didn't get up. You know they're moving because she keeps looking down.
It's a wonder that fish and those furry remains haven't attracted the intruder to
the nest more this morning.
11:33-40a - Feeding time.
11:41a - She no sooner gets settled when the trilling starts. It didn't last
long though. Dad's on patrol.
11:42-45a More feeding and this time the other chick gets quite a bit. I
can't tell which is which.
They zoomed in on the feeding.......GREAT view!! Thank you to whoever did that..
Richard probably.
