Hi Lyle * Welcome ....
Do you salt your slugs before consuming them?
.... raw or parboiled?
Banana slugs or just the black ones?
Bon Apetit !!

Good Afternoon All,
Cams are down? I came in and my views were frozen. The CU was frozen on the sweetlet.
I'll get some more work done and come back in a bit.

My first post but I've been peering at the nest for some time.
Yesterday was also my birthday so, with your permission, I've appointed my self Godfather to the little fellow and named him LYLE.
Any severe objections and I'll go out into the garden and eat slugs.
Cheers,
Lyle.
Lyle, welcome here. You may refer to this eaglet as Lyle in your mind. I love the humour. Happy belated ! Hubbie and I and have named the Sidney bunch but it is political so I won't even go there on the forum. We have a good laugh though, innuendos at play. Slugs? YUK!

4:19P - WHOOOPEEE CAMS ARE UP.

Mom's on the nest brooding and I just heard two single calls from her. She is
facing 6.
Very windy and the tide's out I see.

4:28pm
More calling from Mom, on the nest. (thanks Annie for the ID.)
No of the chicklet since I've been here.
4:34pm
Dad literally floats down from above, quite lovely actually.
4:35pm
Mom remains covering the bowl.
She rises up slightly but stays put over the chick.
The sound seems to be a little out of sync with their beaks.
4:37pm
Both staying put.
