10:42a - Came in to see Mom having a snack and little bobbler not really
doing any bobbling. Mom finished eating and walks over, has a look at the baby,
then settles over the bowl. She is picking around at the nesting, moving things.

10:45a - Up for a little readjustment of position. I caught a glimpse of the
fuzzy lil one.....just the sweetest thing to see.

10:47 - One little call.

10:55a - I stepped out and came back to find Dad on the nest doing some
nestorations. Mom 'talking' sweetly to him in her special way.
He moved to the back rim at approximately 1 fixing things up.

11:02a - Dad flies out.

11:13a - Two single calls and looks up and around.

11:25a - Trilling from Mom.

11:35a - Trilling from Mom and offnest trills.

11:41am
Mom is chattering, but no one is replying to her.
Then she breaks into what sounded like an alarm cry!!!

11:44am
No more calls but she is looking upward.

11:48am
Dad arrives, Mom leaves and the eaglet is turning to face Dad.....how sweet is that!!!
That was really sweet to watch and my goodness those adorable little legs and feet Wub.
pretty sure that's just grass on the egg.

11:50am
Dad settles in to take his turn at brooding.

11:52am
Dad's having a tough time getting settled over the bowl.
He's fussing , calls out.
He has a feather stuck to his beak.

Eaglet is up tall and the egg appears to have a pip.

11:55am
Whoa!!!! hang on, here comes some wind gusts.

What was interesting about watching the eaglet turn right around is that it must have sensed Dad behind because I don't think he saw him, or maybe he was just looking for someone else home :dunno:.

11:57am
couple more calls.
The little one is right under Dad's chest, don't think he wants to be covered up.

12:00pm
One calls, then another from out there;.....lots of calls.
INTRUDER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

12:02PM
Dad was going nuts, lots of calling.
I caught a glimpse of an adult as it passing by over the tree and out to the water.
Not sure if it was Mom or an intruder

surely it's not but it almost looks like we have an adult-juvenile tag team harrassing the nest. They were both there last night and just a short while ago again. While it was too fast to get all three in a shot there was 2 adults and one juvenile seen on the WA and Pa calling on the nest. I got 2 of the birds in one scene and just one in another, best I could do. The end of it was Ma chasing one down and off camera to the right

12:09 both on duty!

thanks for all the great posts everybody Wub
