6:00 Ma faces 3 and is very alert. She calls out loudly. I think she wants a break. I heard no answer.
6:04 Very alert. I am not hearing cheeps from lil one but there is a lot of wind noise.
6:11 Calling out. There is an answer. Trilling and there is an answer.
6:13 Ma remains on the nest facing 3.
6:15 She is cheeping softly.
6:17 she gets up. Chick is laying quietly in the egg cup. It wiggles around and raises up. Then it is down again. Up and down a bit of a bobble. Ma is off the nest. Little raises up and looks all around.
6:18 Incoming parent arrives at 12. Moves to the nest and looks at Lil one. Moves carefully over the chick.
6:19 Chick is left to peek outside. It is up and bobbing.
6:20 Eagle settles down to brood. Up again to get things comfy, but lil one seems to want to be up front
Eagle finally rocks and settles facing 1 and lil one can not be seen.
OH HAPPY DAY THE LIL ONE SEEMS FINE.

6:47am
Parent is brooding, seems restless, have had a few glimpses of the eaglet and it is moving.
Weather appears calm, the WA has raindrops on the lens and wouldn't you know it, one is marring the view of the actual nest.
6:50am
Parent laying in bowl but is fussing with nesting material close to the chest, cannot see the eaglet at the moment but can see the egg, oh, there's the little one right behind the egg.
6:51am
Parent just cannot seem to settle, has rocked side to side almost in a circle around the nest, now facing 2.
Just caught another glimpse of the chick and IMHO it appears fine.
6:56am
Hearing eagle calls from 'out there', a few seconds later the parent on the nest responds.
Lots of chattering back and forth now.
6:57am
quiet.
7:01am
More calls from off nest.

Good reports Sandra......Mom seems calmer and sure is looking down to check on the baby a lot.
I am so glad that this little one appears to be fine. I thought so too. The video shows lots of activity from the eaglet.

Hi Sandra....I'm not sure if it was a change of parents at 6:20 or if mom did a quick on and off. I suspect it was a change and this is dad.....I thought you might know for sure.....we can note it this way and someone who is sure can let us know.
Little one is tucked just under parent and right up center front as it is kept warm.
