I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings

Hi Yalitldevl and Stim, and thanks for the warm welcome Wink

Believe me, my father is just as thrilled and excited about this nest as everyone else here! We named Pa eage Slick because it was cute, but please don't feel like you need to call him that just because we do. It just made it fun for my boys (5 and 7) to watch and get to know this pair.

How amazing is it that Slick knew to bring more food into the nest already? I totally think Ma gave him a honey-do list Smile

Now come on, egg! Hatch already!

Mom & Dad are very protective of their nest, with something large flying above. In the video link below, you can catch a glimpse of the "pip." I can't wait for that cute little eaglet to hatch!!

You're most welcome Kaylea and please feel free to call me Lori if you wish. Normally on HWF parent's don't get named but the young do via call in votes or something. But I think most of us are pretty easy to get along with. I think Slick is cute and even suits him, Ma would be much tougher and the young are tougher yet!

here's a link to our how to's for you to get you started

4:06p The intruder has returned and Dad strongly objects with multiple trills
and calls.
I see that there is another fish in the nest....silver colored. No doubt this is why
the intruder has been around so much today.

Dad brooding and snoozing facing 4....W/A.

I recorded a video from 3:47pm to 3:52pm, of the nest exchange between Mom & Dad, with a clear look at the pip in the egg.
