3:25PM dad arrives with another fish and mom squawks softly to him (I notice that the tide is out)

she has not moved off the bowl.

3:28PM they are both calling out now.
must be an intruder around. (again)

3:31PM agitated calls have begun again.
lasted only a few seconds

3:35PM they are calling again and I can hear trilling off camera, too

dad has shifted his position a bit and I can see the fish he brought seems to be a flat fish of some sort

3:43PM still the odd squawk now and then

mom is shifting ever so slightly on the bowl all this time -- a slight side-to-side movement now and then.

3:48PM another bit of squawking from mom.

3:49PM both depart the nest.
3:50PM adult returns commences trilling

more calls from off cam
3:51 settling onto thebowl

I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

woahhh a big shadow crossed the nest!

I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings

What a GREAT provider Pa is...another fish in the pantry for when the eaglet hatches through there will be plenty food around so it would be fed...So very touching and so very majestic at the same time...they know when to bring food to the nest for the hatching process...So very full of WONDER.

Hi everyone. I'm following this with great interest, since these eagles are nesting on my father's property. I have two little boys here who are very excited to see this new eaglet. We've named Pa eagle Slick, because of his smooth head feathers (thank you to whoever pointed that out, so we could see who is who).

Let's hope whatever is bothering them overhead goes away and leaves them to tend their new chick(s) in peace!

:hello: Kaylea, how good to meet you and your 2 little boys! Grin Slick is the perfect name for Dad. Now there's still Ma and the little ones. Welcome here, thanks for dropping in to say hi and please let us know the other names you come up with. I'm sure the WR nest family here will be glad to help with names you can vote on if you're stuck. I just hope sib rivalry here is not too brutal for your little ones. It will happen but there are degrees of it to be had. You will get to visit this nest live too. So lucky. Left thumb up
