DAY 37 for the first egg.
5:28 am
Still waiting for Mom to get off the eggs to see if we have any pips.
Mom is preening her feathers while incubating.
5:31 am
Mom is up for a stretch and the eggs are in view.
What I thought could be a slight crack on the nearest egg turned out to be a piece of grass that moved when Mom stepped near the eggs.
Mom didn't bother to roll the eggs at all before settling in.

5:46 am
Mom is looking in all directions as if she's on the alert but she hasn't called out --- Oh, she is calling now and watching something fly overhead.

5:49 am
Mom is up and flies off.
I think that dark line is still grass but I'd like to believe it's a crack in the egg.

Looks like Dad who has now come home to take over the nest. He immediately begins incubating without turning the eggs.

6:30am
The CU cam just went totally  out of focus for a second or two.
, it's better now.
Adult brooding, laying very flat over the bowl.
6:36am
The adult picks a little at the nestovers (black bird) laying at 6.
The tide is in, the ocean below is calm, and no wind.
6:39am
Parent is up for a gentle egg roll, they are still intact :ds:.
Resettles, now facing 9..

7:42 am
Calm & beautiful morning on nest with parent facing 5 o'clock.
Construction sounds on occasion.
Flock of geese flying over was peaceful to hear @ 7:20 am.
7:47 am
Digs in nest bowl, slight egg roll, then settles @ 12 o'clock, fussing with straw.
8:17 am
Trills several times.
8:23 am
Still facing l2 o'clock

Was the night cam changing to day view?
It needs a different focus for the daylight - so we get a few moments
while the focus settles down to day mode.

Mornin' WR eagles and peoples :hello:
sorry i've not helped yet, having a hairy morning here! Yes the cam goes out of focus when the night vision turns on and off
great notes my Tx!
Pa just left a wee while ago and Ma came in that was 8:51 - 8:52

guess either the pip is on the other side or underneath or it wasn't one all along. I sure hope it was!! I'm itching for babies on our nest here
I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings

9:07am
Hammering/tapping sound from below.
Mom is brooding with her left wing slightly tucked out and down to her side.
I feel like I could just reach out and pat her on the back ...this cam is
(And, when we do get a chick on this nest it will undoubtedly be the sharpest view we've seen, although Skye's year was pretty good too but it wasn't an HD cam. Sorry, just thinking out loud here)
9:12am
Now hearing a buzz saw.
Mom had her mouth open for a bit, it's closed now.
