:hello: Greers - Nice to see you. There has been an intruder around the nest for several weeks so both
Mom and Dad are on alert looking for it.

He's sure yawning a lot...maybe pushing food down.
10:23-27a - Up for an egg roll and looking up in between. I didn't see the eggs
because he didn't really stand up. He has resettled facing 10. He continues
periodic trilling. What a day to have the intruder being so persistent!
10:28 - Another egg roll and nesting pulls. There he goes again with that bird part,
pulling at it. Bet it winds up in front of him. He has resettled facing 1.

10:31-32 - Two horn bursts.....more trilling.

10:36a - I saw the intruder fly in front of the nest and Dad trilled of course. I'm
thinking it just might have been Mom as his trilling wasn't frantic.
10:39- - Two short soft calls and another yawn.
10:49 - Trills x 3 and he does a little wiggle, preening and another wiggle.
10:52 - Trilling and following the intruder's path above/around him. I wish it
would go away and give him some peace.
10:54 - Up for a little digging in the bowl and an egg roll. He is not really
standing up much for these egg rolls...protective, keeping them out of sight no
doubt. Settled facing 9 now.

11:03 - Two soft calls.
11:08-13 - Intruder is back and Dad gives his warning trills.
11:17-19a - Saw the intruder flying left to right over the water.
Dad up for an egg roll. He no sooner settled when he trilled at the
intruder...settled @ 7 now.

11:31 - He got up and began picking up sticks and attempting to move them.
No egg roll as he resettles at 9. Trilled at the return of the intruder.

11:35 - Two soft singles calls.
11:36-45 - Dad's getting anxious for Mom to show up. He gives little single
calls periodically. He's nods off a couple of times.
11:51 - Multi trilling.
I see the tide's out and still very windy....what else is new....

11:58 - Intruder flew in front of the nest tree from right to left (WA). You can
see h/h over the water in this s'cap....between the left perch limb and evergreen tree.
11:59a - Calls from offnest and from Dad.
Refreshing to sync the cam clock.

12:11 - Three calls from offnest.....Mom must be in the tree.
12:11 - Patiently waiting for Mom to give him a break. The clouds
have come in.
