I've been out but caught some of the action when Dad brought a fish to Mom.
It was SO funny. She was so anxious for it, she started grabbing at it before he could put it down.
She gobbled it up and he sat on the branch to the left. She flew out to the left past him. Dad is now
incubating facing 12. The wind has become VERY strong; the water is really moving.

2:09p - Dad trilling a lot.

Ostrich! too true
Hi Karen, glad you're back Annie
not sure I'll be back today, getting too sore again
I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings

2:33p - Dad doing a lot of trilling during this time...obviously feeling a threat.
2:38p - Egg roll and position change to face 1.
3:14-3:25 - Dad returns and Mom flies out over the Bay (back of nest WA...top right s'cap).
Dad gives the eggs a roll and settles @ 3. Mom flies back in and perches on the nest rim for a
short visit then flies out again. Dad rolls the eggs and settles facing 7.

There was a lot of action in those minutes. Mom wasn't there long and I didn't see
her eat anything. Also, there was no trilling prior which usually, there is.
Ok Lori....no problem.

3:52p - Egg roll and repostion to face 3. He picks at the nesting but also the wing
of whatever prey that is; he seems to have a fascination with it (-:.

4:00 - Dad remains same position constantly looking up.
I have to go for about five minutes...bbs.
