Thanks Judy and Lori - Nice s'caps, obvs.

Happy to see Dad brought fish for Mom. There hasn't been a lot of that over all the
time I have watched them, but that's likely to change now that we are close to hatch.

3:39p - Came in a few minutes ago as Dad was changing position to face 7.
He started trilling a couple minutes later....I didn't see anything on the W/A but he saw
something that got him going.

4:00p - Egg roll and now he's all settled in at 4 doing his pulling and tugging
at the nesting. Nice to see the wind isn't too bad right now.

4:11p - He can't resist taking a little snooze, then pops his head right up.

4:33p - BIG yawn.

Dad checking things out......he has debris on his beak from digging in the bowl.

4:35p - Trilling x2

4:41p - Egg roll and reposition to face 7.

4:53P - Dad keeps trying to catch some shut-eye but things keep waking him.

4:59p - Another yawn and back to sleep for a few.

5:07p - Egg roll and resettled @ 7.

5:13p - Dad trilling at something he sees...wasn't much of a threat as he
only did it twice.

I'll be back in about 10 mins.

Hi,

I'm new here. I have been watching the WR nest for about two weeks. When are the eggs expected to hatch?

I am also watching a nest on live cam in Iowa where three eaglets are old enough to start having some control over their heads and necks. Why are these eggs so far behind? Are these parents young? Their nest seems smaller than the Iowa nest.

Dad's facing 2 now and beak down, beak up, looking around and up.

5:35p - Egg roll and fixing things up around the bowl....positioned
now facing about 12. (WA)

5:49 - Sleeping on the job, lol....hope that isn't raindrops I hear hitting
the cam box intermittently.

6:01 - One trill.

6:07p - Snoozing again...Mom's not as good as Dad at catching z's.

6:15p - Mom has arrived and Dad flew out.

:hello: Greers - It's nice to have you join us.

6:30p - Both cams refocused.

6:32-47p - Mom's up for egg roll and digging around in the bowl, pulling nesting
close in. She's facing 2.
She's warm.....breathing with her mouth open....busy with pulling at the nesting. She
clearly wants to move things in front of her; they just don't suit her where they are, lol.
