LisaS_AEF (Moderator): Romeo and Juliet arrived at the nest for a very quick nestoration at 7:01 pm. They left one after the other at 7:15pm. Lots of vocals once they flew off. Gretchen is still onsite so we will stay tuned for tuck.

gretchen_AEF (Admin): WEDNESDAY Tuck-In Report: Check out the photo above of the deer below the nest. . .kudos to our cam op, jan_AEF, for finding them on the cam. When R&J flew tonight they didn't appear to fly very far, and sure enough we found them perched across the street not far from the nest. They had sweet vocals once they were both there together (landing about a minute apart. . .like "long time, no see! LOL

Juliet was here this morning at 6:51am, Romeo came in at 7:28am to join in with the nestorations!

cynmari_AEF (Admin): Busy, busy, busy! Romeo brings in a fish for Juliet. Juliet in a hurry to eat, swallows half of that fish whole! She then perches and preens waiting for Romeo to join her. When he finally does, she thinks he waited too long and jumps back into the nest, lol. so Romeo not wanting to waste the moment, spots a branch he would like for the nest. then Bingo, er I mean Boingo he goes for it and is successful once again in getting his branch!

(I couldn't go back far enough on the dvr to see her eating her fish!)

Early afternoon:
Juliet in the nest first; shortly after her arrival, Romeo came in at 1:47 pm

They both do some digging in the nest and left by 1:55 pm , R left first.


Romeo at 2:18 pm, he had popped in for a short visit on his own at 2:15, left at 2:20 pm

The rains came
2:52 pm


Presently, sunshine came back, drying things out quickly,
just a droplet on the cam lens now
3:27 pm no sign of Juliet or Romeo at this time

4:09pm Nest time !

Hi Michelle..You are very welcome and a huge for starting our day here ...and for the s'caps and observations and taking the time to post the updates from the cam chat !

We will soon have eggs on this nest.... so exciting ! Last season Juliet laid her first egg on Nov.11 ..

Like Michelle said nest is empty and it is windy !
