gretchen_AEF (Admin): MONDAY Tuck-In: It was a "Super Monday"! No chore tucking Romeo in, as the chatters did a mighty fine job. He is roosting at home tonight and well-tucked! What an eggsciting day it was. . .NE19 hatched in a bit over 16 hrs. Tomorrow promises to be a fun day as NE19 gains strength while NE18 eats away! SED to the Hamlets and to all.

Bev, Pat, Miramatt and Laniebelle and everyone!

Oh my, what a day here, I am on cloud nine seeing that NE19 has arrived!

Wonderful pics Bev, thank you with all my heart.....they are both so adorable! That hatch progressed so nicely.
That video that you shared earlier in the day was hilarious.....NE18 nibbling at the pine needles in the nest. Good practice! Already!!

~~a couple add ons in the chat by the moderators watching this evening:

debistl_AEF (Moderator): Currently, NE19's discarded shell is under Juliet, with NE18 & NE19 and is in view on Cam2. It looks like it could be one of the eaglets peeking, but no such luck

LisaS_AEF (Moderator): Good Evening, Juliet does a quick readjusting at 10:20 pm. Then again at 11:27pm, this time we get to see NE18 & NE19. She takes a couple of minutes and moves before she settles in.


Presently, Juliet is sleeping, tucked in and brooding her babes. I can hear some sweet little peeping going on at times.....
Romeo is perched close to the nest, snoozing and sometimes preening.... all is so good!

gretchen_AEF (Admin): Our "little darlings" are already in the "bonking" stage. No worries, as they will both be fed and well taken care of. NE18 has the advantage over NE19 by being the earliest hatch contributing to increased size and strength. R&J are very experienced and provide abundantly. All will be well

tweetie_AEF (Moderator): 10:30, Finally our sweet NE19 gets some breakfish! Yay! Both are eating great, despite the giant blob of pine sprig that Dad dropped on them for a minute! Lol.

LisaS_AEF (Moderator): Good Morning. It is nice being able to run the cams and see these little ones during the day for a treat today. 11:14 am it is time for a stretch and then Juliet starts feeding time for the babies. 11:20 am Dad arrives with another headless fish and quickly departs the nest. Once feeding is done we have a change in shift,. Romeo does a nest aerating at 11:45 am and now it's time for the little ones to nap. Have a good afternoon. Tweetie will be here to keep you up to date now.

tweetie_AEF (Moderator): Moss man seems to be overdoing it just a bit! Lol! It is amazing how little bonking we have had, and how well these sweet eaglets are eating already!
