debistl_AEF (Moderator): Romeo arrived at 6:50 p.m. and by 6:54 p.m. they were "bonding" And just like that, lots of lightening, pouring rain, and strong winds came in which sent Romeo, then Juliet off on the 7:00 p.m. flight

gretchen_AEF (Admin): MONDAY Tuck-In Report: Juliet was perched when we arrived at the nest for tuck tonight and then tested the nest bowl. Check out debistl_AEF post above for the evening details as we saw all the action. We left in the pouring rain and serious storm. I'm sure R&J knew of a more protected place to roost for the night. They both worked on the nest this morning
10:43 pm Romeo continued to work while Juliet relaxed on her perch

Romeo went and brought back fresh squirrel for Juliet to enjoy

tweetie_AEF (Moderator): Romeo & Juliet bonded for the second time today a little after noon, Romeo flew a few minutes later. Juliet watched something flying overhead for a long time, while preening just about all of her 7000+ feathers, then she worked on some nestorations and flew to the lookout branch to watch for Romeo to return.


I tried to get some scaps of the bonding but had a bugger of a time with the dvr.....oh well.
